Um Kelvin, what part of smearing his body with feces and CHEWING OUT OF HIS RESTRAINTS did not clue you in that this man was a real LOOSE CANNON. Oh that’s right Kelvin, YOU of all people would never be bothered by a loose cannon. You are the poster child.
Hey Tom and Todd - are you regretting your decision to cover for Kelvin yet? What exactly does he need to do to prove to you two nimrods that he has no business running around loose, much less running loose as an ATF SAC. Has this agency not suffered enough embarrassment? Does HE have to smear feces on his body and chew off restraints to get your disapproval? Does ATF have ANY standard for their “leaders” on any level? That’s not a rhetorical question. I’m very curious.
So to review - ATF has armed the Mexican drug cartels and now an 18 year old kid has been kidnapped, held as a sexual prisoner, and been forced into porn, all with ATF funding.
Good job Jones and Brandon, good job!

Only ATF would be documenting Hannibal Lecter as an informant. As for ATF “following the DOJ guidelines” on informants, would someone please post the actual guidelines for any reporters reading this? Madea would also like to read them. It’s been I while, but I distinctly remember a much higher standard. Of course we all now how ATF loves to lower those standards. This agency has been reduced to a big game of Limbo.
I also wonder if this informant was on probation or had any active warrants out for him while on ATF’s payroll. Someone please tell me that ATF was not harboring a fugitive or God forbid, obstructing justice AGAIN.
It's been awhile, but I recall DOJ Guidlines requiring that there is a "Suitability" review/period whereby a potential informant has to pass a "smell" test. If the potential informant is on probation, the Probation Officer must be contacted regarding the potentiality of his "client" use as a criminal informant and engaing in criminal activity at the behest of the government. Additionally, an AUSA is to be contacted regarding the potential source for concurrance in operating that individual. I think that this is still the case, but in my advanced age, I could be leaving something out.

WHO documents rapists? Who allows someone to document rapists? Who is steering that Seattle ship? The media is going to crucify us. NOT because of the informant, but because we have kept Crenshaw, John Torres and the others on-board. Just like with Gillette, Newell, Chait and Hoover, they had/have enough advance notice to remove them from management. BUT instead they kept them and things like THIS and Fast and Furious keep happening. When you keep a senior manager on staff who drills glory holes into hotel room doors, THIS is what you get. Sad..............VERY SAD

Oh yes Tom ‘Ain’t I a Good Guy’ Brandon, you and B. Todd have embarrassed this agency AGAIN (and in such a short time too) by putting this incompetent fool back in his SAC position. You have once AGAIN shown your low threshold of competence for management. Do us all a favor will you and RETIRE? I believe the agents will agree, ATF is in a worse position now (who would have thought that even possible), than it was with the last buffoon to hold your position. Why don’t you leave and make room for a real leader? And, since you have such obvious love and admiration for Kelvin, take him with you when you go.
Is this what you are referring to?

ATF funds used to kidnap, rape a woman in an ATF funded hotel room?
I did not know ATF management could run their own CI's.

Thank you Jose1 for that great post. I agree with you regarding the problems in Seattle. I’d also like to point out that the “leadership” in that office is a direct result of B. Todd Jones and Tom ‘Ain’t I a Nice Guy’ Brandon. After all, it was these two pretend leaders who put Crenshaw back to work. Oh yes, Mr. Toys R Us was much too valuable a SAC to leave in the penalty box for long. Yes indeed, Kelvin Crenshaw is ATF’s very own Standard of Excellence. Now, if you’re wondering why Tom ‘Ain’t I a Nice Guy’ Brandon is looking the other way at an allegation of theft of government funds, google Detroit and Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick. It’s alleged that he has 68 million in government funds stashed in Dubai. Tom is used to this kind of behavior. Remember, Tom was in Detroit for a long time. He’s accustomed to this Standard.
Hey Tom, where is that detail of agents to fight crime in Detroit? We’re still waiting. Or are they so undercover that no one can find them? Go get em Detroit office and clean up these streets. One more suggestion Tom, since Kelvin is so invaluable, and he apparently runs such a tip-top office, detail him to Detroit. I’m sure Kelvin could straighten this place out. Minimally, Toy’s R Us would be free of all those dangerous weapons. Well, at least we don’t have to worry about Kelvin running guns to the drug cartels. I hear they like the real guns that Newel & Co. were peddling.

Way to go Jones and Brandon. You two certainly distinguished yourselves when you set this standard.

Word from the Seattle Field Divsion is that there allegedly was a theft of a large amount of cash by someone in managment and an attempt at a cover-up. Someone out there wasn't doing their job.I guess too busy watching ESPN on their flat screen TV or out gambling. Anyhooo I wonder if there will be any disciplinary action if it involves ATF leadership for dereliction of duty?? Bwaaahaaa . Just joking of course. There never is . I am guessing not and they will put the blame again on street agents. ATF managment always does when they are caught comitting crimes.
Hearing that a lot of the support staff out there are quitting because they are becoming so disgusted. Maybe they should have watched the leadership video?
Am sure SAC and ASAC's, DOO willl all receive big bonuses again this year
All I can say nothing ever changes......
