The Japanese were wise and correct. Be it Karma or God's will, all things are atoned for. Unless and until ATF leadership LEADS with integrity, STOPS making excuses for inept managers, Chief counsel attorneys and yes, Agents, we will continue down the path of destruction and the end of our Bureau as we know it, is imminent. We cannot keep replacing our AD of Internal Affairs because the previous one knowingly violated law, rule or policy without consequences. The next one will know he can break whatever mandate and not suffer for intentional corruption. You fire Agents who are perceived as enemys of the Agency every day. FIRE JUST ONE SES. Start with Torres. Or Torres, Or CHAIT. Any one of the corrupt leaders will do. JUST one. That's right, Mr. Jones is NOT ATF and clearly has NO genuine interest in ethical law enforcement leadership. He's outta here. Back to Minn. OR J P Morgan?

I am in the process of wrapping up my career with ATF…All in all it’s been good, but it is time for me to go. My take on Fast & Furious.

I have had a couple of IA investigations over the years, which were all unfounded. IA investigations are incredibly stressful even if you know damn well that you did nothing wrong, which is why I would never make an accusation against another unless I was damn sure that there was a problem. The last IA investigation that I suffered through lasted nearly two years before it was unfounded. How does this relate to Fast & Furious? Well the agent that didn’t bother to give me the courtesy of a phone call or minimal investigation to clear up HER misinterpretation of a document was none other than Fast and Furious case agent Hope MacAllister.

Although I don’t wish ill will on her or anyone else related to this case, I certainly recognize a pattern of poor judgment by Agent MacAllister. There is an old Japanese proverb that goes something like …If you sit by a river long enough, you'll see the body of your enemy float by…Karma is a bitch aint it!!!
