Why are the top three positions in the agency “actors” at this moment? This is DOJ's way of cleaning house! Why does the Chief Counsel's Office seem to have their fingerprints all over so many personnel blunders? Chief Counsel's Office is corrupt to the core. Was former Deputy Director Domenech, a top SES with a notorious reputation for abuse of power and little need for resume padding, given some sort of EO settlement? Yep! The War College, 26k bonus and SAC Washington Field Division. Before retiring, why was former AD Bouchard made the Executive Assistant (without explanation)? After he and Domenech snitched and did not think anyone would know, he thought he would be the next in line for the Deputy Director position. I would have had to keep him close too. Why did former Deputy Director Carter retire in such a muffled haste? He had been on per diem for two years just like Michael Sullivan. Rumor has it that Wilford Ford snitched him out. Why is current Deputy Director Hoover in a hurry to step down to the very SAC position that former DD Domenech was “demoted” to? If you were found out and everyone knew that you had an inappropriate relationship with an employee. You too would want to hide! Was former SAC Chait promoted to DAD and then AD level on the heels of NON-leadership during a National crisis? Yep. Were recent SAC promotees Gleysteen and Richardson actually found to be "less than candid" in past administrative hearings? Is this true? I have heard this but I do not know. Did SAC Potter have a reputation for harassing minority subordinates in Atlanta only to be promoted to SES in the months following? Yep. Was former SAC MacLemore found lying to professional responsibility investigators twice in a career, relieved of command (under criminal investigation) and given a hero’s farewell? Yep. She attempted to influence witnesses. She was relieved of command by Chait and Bouchard(?) or Hoover(?). She also was given a heroe's farewell at the new HQ. She was kind of off her rocker and rumored to be bi-polar. She was never the same before she was relieved or after. Did former AD Crenshaw commit some sort of indiscretion, lose his position on the executive staff and tell subordinates that he was returning to his old field division for a sick family member? The sick family member was the official story. When Ronnie Carter brought Mr. Crenshaw down, Billy Hoover had some heartburn with this due to the fact that Billy Hoover felt that he should have been brought in as a DAD. It is rumored that Kelvin Crenshaw was dating a secretary that he flew back and forth from Seattle using governement funds. Did retired ASAC Gordon retire under the pressure of numerous EEO and OPRSO findings only to be invited back by AD Ford to represent the agency in a 2010 Discovery documentary? Was former ASAC Stankiewicz actually offered a high dollar contract job while simultaneously being shown the door for sexual harassment? Is he still a contractor for ATF? Yep. Nope. ATF settled with the young lady involved only because it was undefendable (is that a word?) what Stankiewicz did! Was Steve Martin's punishment for mismangement of the San Francisco Field Division promotion to DAD? You know it! How long were the following executives RACs or Group Supervisors: Potter, Newell, Zapor, Crenshaw, O’Brien, J. Torres, Webb, Stoop, Martin and Chait (and of recent retirement--Goddard, Raden and Chase). Per Martin Luther King, Jr., "How long? Not Long!!!" How many current executives actually took and passed the AC? None. They are a bunch of idiots and would not pass. The hypocritical thing about this is that they participate in the current AC. Is all well? Nope! This place is going to hell in hand basket.

Sorry, I have no idea what the answer are to your questions because they are the same questions that I have. If anyone would like to fill me in, I would appreciate it.

Cool Hand, excellent questions. I think most of us know the answers. Let me add to your list. Why are Chief Counsel attorneys allowed to create attorney-client privilege for managers with the sole purpose of protecting bad acts? How is Loos allowed to maintain her positions as ATF’s Chief Ethics Attorney when clear cut evidence and testimony is available that she has not abided by her own rules? Why have the Chief Counsels attorneys not received bar complaints (we know they deserve it and we know they would stick)? Why hasn't IA, OIG or the IG investigated the unethical conduct of the Chief Counsels attorneys? Let’s hold Chief Counsels attorneys to the same scrutiny they hold agents to. They offer no quarter or compassion for agents so as the tables are turned they deserve none in return.
