This is probably the 5th or 6th time I've seen someone post here only to be ridiculed by Madea and Sandy Davis for offering an opinion that they do not share. Webmaster you have lost control of your pages. I will no longer be participating either. BTW, I agree with their opinions but belittling a 23 year agent like he doesn't deserve an opinion of his own puts Madea and Sandy Davis in the same catagory as the bad bosses of the past.

#3800 The one thing that has been bothering me about the ATF.

When I opened this thread I assumed it was going to be a "ATF sucks" bashing. It turned out to be an intelligent discussion between Dealers and Agents. That is how it is suppose to be. In a perfect world we cooperate to stop the use of firearms in violent crimes. Unless of course ATF sets up the FFL to be the fall guy. FFL's many agents feel your pain. It is been brought down on us too as individuals. It all comes back to a willingness to accept and protect corruption at the highest level of ATF. Until that ends these stories will continue. Until Jones places meaningful accountablity on those involved in F&F there will always be skeptism from within the agency and the from public. As long as Newell and Co. remain in protected postions no one is going to fully trust or embrace the new crew.

Excellent posting Jay Dobyns. How many disputes that were started with accurate allegations but fought only for the purpose of fighting (see the resume of Eleaner Loos for countless examples) could have been settled with an appology and and handshake but because of chief counsels office they cost ATF thousands of dollars? The examples of ATF internal affairs doing a half hearted job to find the truth are in the hundreds.
